Product Description

Rugged hand crafted Scottish waxed cotton dog collar.The Scottish waxed cotton collar is highly durable, water resistant, and beautifully designed. The use of waxed cotton began in the early 19th century when sailors, seeking protection from icy spray and high winds, treated old linen sailcloth with linseed oil to create simple smocks. By the 20th century, they were using cotton, treated with paraffin wax. The result is an even more durable and breathable fabric with the quality and character to make it a popular choice all round.

The Scottish Waxed Cotton collar is available in Black, Green and Navy.

Note: The range is designed to fit smaller to medium sized dogs. Please measure your dogs neck using string and a tape measure to ensure a good fit.

Measuring for your dog for a collar:

- Ensure your dog is standing still

- Measure using a fabric tape measure or string

- Measure the neck line at the base of the neck

- If measuring collars, add one / two cm's for your dog to be comfortable

Sizing Guidelines

Dogs Neck Size - the sizes below indicate the size of the dogs neck. We should allow a small amount of space between the neck size and collar length.

Small: 17.5 ~ 23.5 cm / 7" ~ 9.5" ; Width 1.4 cm

Medium: 28 ~ 34 cm / 11" ~ 13.5" ; Width 1.8 cm

Large: 36.5 ~ 44.5 cm / 14.5" - 18" ; Width 2.2 cm
