Bound in the publishers original blue cloth.
The Diamond Classics Series was a collection of miniature volumes of poetry, stories, novels and essays, uniformly bound in blue cloth. There were originally forty-six volumes in the series, published between 1828 and 1851. Dates and information acquired using Jisc, from a full set of the series held at the University of Oxford Libraries.
This set is comprised of the following:
The Poetical Works of Mark Akenside.
The Seasons by James Thomson and The Farmers Boy by Robert Bloomfield, bound together with two separate paginations.
Giffords Baviad and Maeviad: Pasquin v. Faulder: Epistle to Peter Pindar and The Poetical Works of the Right Honorable George Canning, bound together with two separate paginations.
Paradise Regained; and Other Poems by John Milton.
CONDITION
Bound in the publishers original blue cloth. Externally, excellent, with light rubbing and a little bumping to the extremities. Spines are a touch faded, with the odd mark to cloth. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, with the occasional handling mark.
