A charming anthology of four tales, by Lauria Valentine. Comprising of an abridged version of Robinson Crusoe, alongside Valentines renditions of Children in the Wood, Hare and Tortoise, and World Wide Fables.

Illustrated with twenty-four chromolithograph plates. Collated, complete.

Valentine was an English author, known for her prolific output of childrens works during the Victorian era.

CONDITION

In the original publishers cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Stamp to the recto of the front free endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with a few light handling marks.
