Complete in three volumes, each being first edition copies.
Privately printed.
These volumes contain correspondence between Lady Louisa Stuart and her sister Caroline Countess of Portarlington and other friends and relations. The works have been edited by Mrs. Godfrey Clark. Lady Louisa Stuart was a British writer of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Volume one (1895) covers the period 1778-1785.With three plates to volume one.
Volume two (1896) covers the period 1785-1799. With four plates to volume two.
Volume three (1898) covers the period from 1800-1813. With five plates to volume three.
Collated, complete.
CONDITION
In the original cloth binding with cloth to the edges of the front board of vol i and front and rear of vol. ii. Externally, a little worn with marks to the boards and spine and creasing to the head and tail of the spines. The edges of the first few pages to volumes i and ii are creased and chipped. Internally, firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages. Some of the pages remain unopened.
