the statue, quit crudely carved, is of a column-like form, showing an abstract human body,

the top represents a double and flared headdress or coiffure with flat top,

facial features are carved on the head part; we see eyes and the form of the nose and ears,

the total abstraction of anatomical detail makes identification difficult, but the high hairstyle might indicate it represents a female,

information on Chamba statues is scarce, the precise purpose and significance in the Chamba culture remains unclear to us

age: unknown

condition: an authentic patina, signs of handling and age, some dents, chips and cracks
