2003 ventes exceptionnelles ALESSI ‘ALESSANDRO M’ tire-bouchon AM23 2 « Delft ».

As corkscrews go this is about as iconic as it's gets and is up there in terms of famous kitchen kit like Phillips Starck's insane Salif juicer, Dualit's indestructible toasters and Chroma's 301 knife range designed by Porsche F.A.

This famous corkscrew was designed by Alessandro Mendini for Alessi and is still being made today.

This particular model is ‘Alessandro M' AM23 2 “Delft” and was from a VERY small run of hand painted limited editions (4 in total No.1 Proust, No2 Delft, No.3 Pois, No.4 Zebra) which were released in 2003.

The limited edition versions as well as being hand painted were also hand numbers on the bottom of each unit. This particular unit is number 143 from 2003 (see image of base).

It has never been used and is still in the original box with sleeve and booklets.

Perfect condition, all chrome is bright and unmarked. All hand painted elements are in perfect order.

This is essentially BNOS (brand new old stock)

This would make someone a really cool present or an Alessi collector very happy!
