Containing fifteen full-page illustrated plates by noted English artist, Charles Milton Bell (or C.W. Bell). Collated and complete.
Containing the bookplate of hunting dog expert Alan Thornton to the front pastedown. Also containing a previous owners small ink notation to the top of the title page.
CONDITION
In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, generally sound, with some staining and fading to the spine and boards. Bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Previous owners bookplate to the front pastedown and previous owners ink notation to the top of the title page. Internally, binding is starting, with the plates facing page 4 detached but present. Page 11 to 15 starting at the tail. Plate facing page 22 is starting at the tail. Plate facing page 26 only attached at the head and may detach with further handling. Pages contain a few spots and handling marks, but are generally bright and clean.
